Jim Brown - Rock Photographer

Taking photos at 88' Monsters of Rock tour was difficult.  Jammed in a pit in front of 120,000 fans on a hot summer day at Candlestick Park made it nearly impossible to hold on to my gear or even find a place to post up.  First time seeing Metallica, the Scorpions and Van Hagar's headline effort to support the 5150 album was intense.  My photos were horrible.  I knew then that this wasn't as easy as the other guys made it look.  I don't know who they were...maybe Marshall?   Fast forward to now, my gear is a little bit better and years of experience has guided me to be able to capture photos that reflect the intensity of each artist and brand I work with.   30 years after my first try at rock photography and I still enjoy every moment, especially teaching my daughter Emilie how to find the best shot for the client.  (she can change a roll of film!) 

Artists and Brands can have marketable product the morning after the show.
